I can remember growing up going with my Stepfather to the liquor store to buy his cigarettes, the truth is; sometimes he would even send me to buy them for him. The walls outside of the liquor stores and grocery stores for that matter, were covered in advertisements from cigarette companies. As a Mom of little ones, it is upsetting to drive through some neighborhoods and see the same horrible view, the walls plastered with tobacco advertisements. I was invited to attend an event in March on a subject that many don’t know much about. Endometriosis. I was diagnosed with endometriosis many years ago and never spoke to a Doctor about it since. I have lived with the symptoms I had and figured that was the way the rest of my life should be. Boy was I wrong! Endometriosis is NOT something that we just have to deal with!

This is so exciting, the date is SO close; I can almost taste the movie theater popcorn! It is of no surprise that our Family is a huge conglomerate of comic book fans. Since our kids were little, we were known as the “cool Family” in the theaters because we were there for the Thursday night premiers with kids in tow. Our kids have grown up with this love of comic books and Super Hero movies and have cultured that love into a borderline obsession 😉 full healthy obsession. We have watched every single movie. We’ve read every comic book leading up to each movie. Purchased advanced screening tickets the minute they were available.
