With so many birthdays and events, I am always writing thank you cards on behalf of the kids; it’s the neat thing to do. I say neat, because the kids might not always write the neatest or most thoughtful note cards.
Which is why I was so excited when I was approached to try Thankr.

Thankr is an app that makes it not only fun, but an easy way to send thank you’s to friends and Family without the worry of a note card not being done correctly. I downloaded Thankr and tried it out, and had the kids make some Thankr’s as a sample, they had way too much fun!

What is Thankr?
Thankr is a “thank you” app available on iOS, with Android coming soon! It uses a video platform to help make thanking people easier. The hope is to make thanking fun and easy. You can choose to create a video or send a picture, personalize a note, pick a fun background and stamp, and send a Thankr via text/e-mail. It can be used as a thank you for gifts–birthday parties, graduation, shower, etc, or for a fun playdate, for help from a friend, etc.

How to use Thankr

As you can see, it’s as simple as adding a text and stickers to a picture or video, customize to your liking, and ta-dah!
Send it to one person, send it to many; or send a unique Thankr to each person from your party!
As a Mom of 6, with kids always having birthdays, Sports awards, celebrations, it’s great way for me to be able to send Thank you’s to everyone, from the parking lot of the Soccer complex.
My biggest reason for forgetting to send Thank you cards to Family and friends has always been the time consuming task. I am always driving kids around, waiting in practices, at home working with deadlines; this app has been a much needed answer to my accidental rudeness.

To answer a question from our reader, the Person receiving the Thankr does not need to have the app installed.
It is a web based picture or video, so when the person clicks on the link;
it automatically opens the picture or video!

What a wonderful idea. This App is a fantastic! Sometimes you just don’t have enough hours in the day, we are all time poor and sometimes we “miss” thanking those who have made a difference. I love this App, easy, user friendly and it makes people feel appreciated.

Great question!
We just sent a Thankr to ourselves to see the result, and no; you don’t need to have the app. It’s a link you receive via text or email and you view the Thankr note via the web 😉
